Southminster Child Care Center is the mission of the church, organized in 1981 to provide a loving, supportive, safe, and educational environment for the children in our care. Through positive interaction with the children and their families, and by working in a supportive and encouraging manner, it is our desire to promote health, strength, and well being to our families.

• To provide a safe, happy environment that meets the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of the children in our care.
• To provide an environment where both children and adults demonstrate respect, courtesy, and cooperation with one another.
• To provide enriching experiences that help create a basic readiness for school and cultural activities.
• To provide opportunities and experiences that enable children to develop independence, responsibility, and self-confidence.
• To provide an opportunity for interactions with other children that encourage pro-social behavior.
• To provide age-appropriate activities that encourage self-expression, and an atmosphere where learning can transpire at everyone’s pace.
